Amsel AIDS Quilt panel on display in Philadelphia this weekend / October giving promo

The AIDS Quilt panel we made in Richard Amsel's memory will be on display this coming weekend, as part of the Philadelphia AIDS Walk on October 20th. This will be a rare opportunity to see the panel in person.

Thanks to everyone who contributed to our August/September giving campaign! We have a new one for October, with a special prize we'll be giving away to one randomly selected donor: An original advertising "slick" for the 1982 re-release of RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK.

Ad slicks, or ad sheets, were camera-ready ads of varying sizes used in printed newspapers and magazines. This example represents a modified version of Amsel's poster artwork, so that it would reproduce better in black and white. This slick was one of several I obtained some years ago from Propstore's auction from the collection of RAIDERS executive producer, Howard Kazanjian.
